本届世界大学生围棋锦标赛由世界大学生围棋联合会、上海市应昌期围棋教育基金会、泰国围棋协会和泰国正大管理学院共同主办。这是世界大学生围棋联合会先后在中国香港、中国台北、加拿大多伦多成功举办了三届世界大学生围棋锦标赛之后，大学生围棋盛会又一次在亚洲进行。为鼓励女子大学生围棋的普及和提高，本次大赛仍将设立女子组比赛，欢迎大学生女子围棋爱好者踊跃报名参赛。

　　前三届大学生围棋世锦赛在香港、台北、多伦多举行，吸引了来自世界各地近百所名牌大学的上百名大学生选手参加。哈佛大学、麻省理工学院、多伦多大学、早稻田大学、明知大学、牛津大学、清华大学、北京大学等世界各地大学生选手荟聚香港中文大学、新竹清华大学、多伦多大学，以棋会友，开启了有千年历史的中华围棋走向大学校园的新旅程。

　　今年七月在泰国正大管理学院，倡棋杯中国职业围棋大赛四强战第二次与大学生围棋世锦赛同步进行，来自世界各地的大学生围棋选手在切磋手谈的同时，还能“零距离”地欣赏世界顶尖职业棋手的精湛棋艺和冠军风采。大赛期间，世界冠军、职业棋手还将与世界各地的大学生棋手进行“车轮战”等互动活动。组委会并安排参赛选手游览观光，让大家饱览旅游胜地泰国的秀丽风光。

　　2017年第四届世界大学生围棋锦标赛竞赛规程、报名方法已在应氏围棋网上公布。

　　The Fourth Annual World Collegiate Go Championship hold in Bangkok in July

　　The Fourth Annual World Collegiate Go Championship and the Semi-final of 14th Chang-Qi Cup will be hold in Panyapiwat Institute of Management in July 2017。

　　The championship will be jointly organized by the International University WEICHI Federation （IUWF）， Shanghai Ing-Chang qi Weichi Foundation， Go Association of Thailand and Panyapiwat Institute of Management。 This Fourth Championship is back to Asia again after three successful ones in Hong Kong， Taipei and Toronto。 In order to encourage and improve the female Go players， the Championship will still set up the women‘s group。 All the female college Go players are welcome to apply for this championship。

　　The IUWF successfully organized three Collegiate Go Championship in Hong Kong， Taipei and Toronto。 More than hundreds of selected college students from almost one hundred famous universities around the world to attend the championship。 The students from Harvard University， MIT， University of Toronto， Waseda University， Meiji University， University of Oxford， Tsinghua University， Peking University and other famous universities gathered and became friends because of Go in The Chinese University of Hong Kong， National Tsinghua University and University of Toronto。

　　The top professional Chinese Go players will also show up and compete with multiple college students。 It will be great to have the party for international collegiate Go player in beautiful Thailand。
